About me

I am a PhD Candidate in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management at the University of California, Berkeley under the supervision of Dr. George Roderick. At Berkeley I am a member of the Evolab. I am broadly interested in invasion ecology, specifically the ecological consequences of biological invasions.

I am completing my dissertation as a Pathways Student Trainee with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service in the Exotic and Invasive Weeds Research Unit in Albany, CA under the supervision of Dr. Patrick Moran. I am exploring how mosquito population dynamics is influenced by invasive aquatic plants in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta, one of several California regions where West Nile Virus cases have continued to increase over the past several years.
